I tend to agree with London: man will revert to his animal instincts when left on his own, so if removed from 'The System' a student will thrive educationally simply because they are no longer a student, but an active human being that needs to survive. And I include typical Amreican life-style as part of The System, HBO, NBA, Wal-mart, FOX-News and all.
