It seems somewhat fitting that Studs departs us on Halloween. A true man of the people, he'll have one more opportunity to dance with the damned and bedevil the complacent, the fat-cats, the oligarchs. Too bad he didn't live to witness the election of Obama. Working is the amound the most influential books I have ever read. It was the first book I read in graduate school at UMD. Outstanding!
